Exxon Mobil Campus

Art as a Landmark

I created place-making visual pieces based on four core concepts: Water, Fire, Nature and Science for each office building in the four quadrants of the ExxonMobil Campus in Spring, Texas.

The artworks hang within lightboxes at the entrance of each floor grounding the viewer in the space and establishing each theme.
There are 6-7 unique artworks for each building, with each floor displaying a variant of the theme.

This year-long project was a mix of digital and traditional mediums, and the color palettes were curated to match the interior finishes and colors or the interior architecture and furniture.

Water Theme: Blue - Watercolors, digital
Nature Theme: Greens -Ink, photography and digital
GeoScience: Browns and Golds - Vector and Watercolor
Fire: Reds and Yellows - Expressionism, gouache paint, ink, digital
