Exxon Mobil EGD

Light-Inspired Graphics for Exxon Mobil

This was a large environmental graphics design project for 18 floors of office space for ExxonMobil's Offcampus facility in the Woodlands, Texas.

Our team of two graphic designers created a concept based on light with three distinct color-coded environments that would guide and center the users through the space. The three concepts were glow (orange), refraction(green) and beam (red).

The graphics package included original artwork, wayfinding and signage, I was also personally tasked with creating a custom rug design for the Tech lounge, and a Garage mural, all show below.

Custom Rug

Selecting colors for a custom rug design is a tactile process. You receive a long scarf-like palette of wool puffs, and match your design to the available tones. The "cut" and "loop" sides of the wool have different color intensities, and can be used as different tones in the design.
