Austin for Amazon HQ2

Austin's Bid for Amazon's HQ2 City Search

At Jones-Dilworth I worked as the sole graphic designer behind the city of Austin's 278-page bid for Amazon's HQ2 City search.
A skeleton crew of writers, marketers and myself worked closely to produce a printed and handbound book (only 8 copies were made) with custom wood covers, brilliant copywriting and impeccably-designed spreads in 4 weeks.

The bid package was sent in wooden boxes with a laser-etched Austin mural on the lid, a wooden hard drive with "Hello, How are you?" graphic on it that had the digital version of the book, and all our central texas warmth and love.

The City of Austin bid was selected as a finalist with 11 others to advance to the second round.
